1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for services provided by Scalero ("we," "us," or "our"). It applies together with our Terms of Service and any proposal, statement of work, or order form ("Order") you sign. Where an Order states different refund terms, the Order controls.
2. Management Fees (Retainers)
Monthly management fees pay for work performed during the billing period — strategy, campaign management, optimization, and reporting. Because this work is delivered continuously throughout the month, management fees are generally non-refundable once the billing period has begun. If you cancel, you will not be billed for future periods after your notice period ends, but fees for the current and prior periods remain due.
3. Setup & One-Time Fees
One-time fees (such as onboarding, website creation, or creative production) cover dedicated work and resources. Once work on a one-time deliverable has started, the corresponding fee is non-refundable. If we have not yet begun work on a one-time deliverable, you may request a refund of that specific fee.
4. Advertising Spend
Advertising spend (media budget) is paid by you directly to the advertising platforms, or is passed through at cost, and is controlled by your own accounts. Scalero does not refund ad spend. Refunds for amounts charged by Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat, or other platforms are governed by the policies of those platforms.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your engagement at any time by providing written notice as set out in your Order (typically 30 days). Services and billing continue through the end of the notice period. We will provide a clean handoff of accounts and final deliverables for which payment has been received.
6. Eligibility for a Refund
A refund may be issued where required by law, where we have charged you in error, or where we have not delivered a paid one-time service that we had not yet begun. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within a reasonable time after approval.
7. Chargebacks
If you believe you have been billed incorrectly, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of services while the matter is reviewed.
8. How to Request a Refund & Contact
To request a refund or ask a question about this policy, email us with your company name and invoice details. We aim to respond within three (3) business days.
